Sound: Adult Alternative Album Rock

When did you form as a band/start performing?

Tim Vitullo Band (TVB) began performing upon the release of Josephine & Assorted Train Songs in August 2015. Since then, the band has experienced several lineup changes and has settled into a sound that prominently features tight three-part vocal harmonies, twin-guitar pyrotechnics, and smooth saxophone riffs amidst Vitullo's diverse original compositions.

Where all have you performed?

Tim Vitullo and his bandmates have had the pleasure of opening for such diverse acts as B.B. King, Devon Allman, State Radio, We Are Scientists, Tommy Castro & The Painkillers, Horse Thief, & Miner throughout their careers. The band graced the stage of the Snowshoe Mountain Blues, Brews, & BBQ Festival in 2016. Locally, the band can be found performing at Club Cafe, Mr. Small's, Brillobox, Howler's, Cattivo, The Park House, The Smiling Moose, and several local area restaurants and coffee shops.

What musicians do you draw your inspiration from?

Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, Tom Waits, Neil Young, The Jayhawks, The Allman Brothers Band, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Bill Frisell, The Band, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, North Mississippi Allstars, & Bill Withers

What is your most memorable performance experience?

Our first show! It was equal parts exciting and terrifying to attempt recreating the studio album live.
